Quality Enhancement Cell:
Investing in Quality, based on the ownership of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and Quality Enhancement (QE) practices for delivering high quality education, INU envisages becoming a world premiere center of excellence for education, research and development. INU has its own quality assurance regimen, follows the quality assurance program of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for improved quality and research.
With Quality as its integer and Excellence in higher education as a qualitative strategic imperative, INU manifested its progressive mission by establishing the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), and since then, has taken bold initiatives to attain, manage and enhance quality at the institutional level in all its cadres as university management, academic and administration. The QEC, as an essential component of INU management, is dedicated to an effective implementation of Quality Standards, processes of Quality Assurance and Management System, and continually reviewing the progress for enhancement of quality as per INU Quality Policy. For this to happen, QEC has undertaken the development of a quality mindset in the university at student, faculty, and management levels, so that a practicing quality culture is one of the best practices at INU.
From the date of establishment, the INU QEC team has been responsible for bringing realization to all stakeholders that the Quality Assurance program (a Continuous Improvement Process for improving quality in Teaching, Programs, Curricula and Research) is helpful in improving the quality of their professionalism towards the deliverance of quality education. To create awareness about quality in the students, faculty and staff, QEC is continually involved in developing a quality mind set in the university at student, faculty, and management levels, so that a practicing quality culture is one of the best practices at INU.

IQRA National University (INU), Pakistan being a private sector university imparting standardized quality meeting the international standards of higher education in Pakistan. INU is committed to total institutional satisfaction by implementing international standards in educational practices at all levels with highest priority. The INU is moving ahead in the fast moving track towards internationalization and delivering high quality education, research and innovations. This is all due to HEC guidance and our ample leadership commitments and wisdom through which INU is growing fast and maintaining high quality education. For quality enhancement in all departments of INU and attaining standards both national and international levels, INU established Quality Enhancement Cell, We, at the Quality Enhancement Cell, are now dedicated to strengthen Quality Assurance (QA) processes and implement Quality Enhancement (QE) processes that would help establish, sustain and enhance academic richness, quality-centricity, innovative research and scholarship opportunities for national & international students. Working in teams with all stake holders in INU system is a key element to implement quality enhancement strategies as per future needs for productive outcomes and national and international ranking. The implementation of high quality international standard is imperative to meet the international challenges shall continue with new spirit and enthusiasm to built INU flag higher in the world and looking ahead to see INU in top 100 universities of the developing world.

The scope of QEC is focused on building a quality culture in the university by creating, implementing and managing quality assurance and enhancement processes and practices to ensure competitive excellence nationally and internationally. These processes and practices involve an effective implementation of Quality Standards, processes of Quality Assurance and Management System, and continual review of progress for enhancement of quality, including development of various standards for the institution, departments and programs by involving all stakeholders including teachers, students, staff; analyzing needs, identifying areas for improvement, developing new procedures that ensure the quality of higher education is maintained, developed and enhanced.
The main objective of QEC is to facilitate the implementation of Quality Assurance procedures and practices and also ensure quality enhancement at the institutional level so that with continuous improvement of strategies, resolute effort and action, the criteria of quality in all aspects of the university that affect the quality of learning and research helps INU to attain international competitiveness and compatibility amongst the top universities in Pakistan. QEC is determined to:
- Establish a quality –centric approach, processes and practices at INU for institutional effectiveness that positively impacts the stakeholders.
- Strengthen the internal Quality Assurance process at INU through Self-Assessment as per HEC criteria.
- Prepare academic and non-academic departments and programs to meet the criteria and standards of INU statutory bodies and international higher education evaluation/accreditation bodies and rankings.
- Ensure academic quality by continuously assessing learning outcomes in academic and non-academic departments in a systematic way with uniformity, and making them consistent with the vision and mission of INU.
- Develop quality enhancement processes and practices to ensure competitive excellence in all cadres and stakeholders of INU.
- Get feedback from students, teachers, graduates, and employers on prescribed intervals. Evaluate the feedback and suggest appropriate measure to concerned quarters for implementation if deemed necessary.
