BSC ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

The electrical engineering department came into existence with the establishment of the lara National University Peshawar in 2010. It is one of the largest departments in the University with average number of students being approximately 500, 10% of whom are in the graduate program. The department provides four-year undergraduate programs accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Power Systems, Communication Systems and Electronics. The department also offers bachelor of technology (BTech) program. BTech program combine rigorous training in technological fundamentals and applications. in addition, department also offers 4 years program in robotics, biomedical engineering, maths & physics.

EE department offers Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in the following specializations

1. Power & Energy Engineering
2. Signal and Images Processing
3. Control Engineering
4. Engineering Management

The EE department also offers PhD program in the following specialization

1. Communication system Engineering
2. Power System Engineering
3. Engineering Management

The department has about 19 full-time faculty members in four specialized areas of research and eight fully equipped labs with adequate staff.
