OBJECTIVE

The program is dedicated to exploring the diverse realm of fiber materials across fashion, furnishing, and interior design, integrating traditional textile craft traditions with modern innovation. Textile Design encompasses a rich tapestry of historical, theoretical, and technological perspectives, aiming to equip students with a deep understanding of materiality and conceptual exploration. Our curriculum offers a comprehensive study of textile history, printing, weaving, and related courses in surface embellishment and embroidery. Through a balance of theoretical grounding and hands-on experimentation, we foster students’ creativity, self-reliance, and passion for the evolving field of Textile Design, empowering them to create new forms of visual expression.

ELIGIBILITY

To be enrolled in bachelor or Diploma Program at Art & Design Department, 45% in HSSC or equivalent is required.
